False advertisement- none of the parts or any portion of this is organic or labeled as such. Would look elsewhereThis is my second Lillebaby and I cannot say enough good things about these carriers. My first Lillebaby was an Airflow, which I still love, but when we moved from Southern California to Oregon I needed a warmer carrier. Compared to the Airflow, the Organic is SO much softer and it is definitely warmer and bulkier. It doesn’t feel as thin and flimsy as my Airflow, but that may be due to the face that I’ve only washed my organic 2 times and the airflow has been washed several times. The hood on the organic is cotton, while the airflow is mesh, so the hood is definitely bulkier when stored in the front pocket. Just like the airflow, there is a side pocket on the front of the carrier but because the hood is stored behind it, it doesn’t feel as roomy as the pocket on my Airflow. (You can remove the hood easily, I just use it often so I always have it on the carrier)Both carriers are super comfortable for both me and my husband and easy to adjust (less than a minute to adjust and very easy and convenient to get on and off, it takes less than 30 seconds to clip the waist, get your baby in, and clip the back. I've also worn it though the airport several times and because there's very little metal (snaps only) you can wear it through security/TSA without taking baby out. It makes traveling SO much easier. I also really like that this carrier is ready to go, you don't need to buy a separate insert for a newborn. One thing that may be helpful if you're new to babywearing, the only position your baby will be able to be in for the first 6 months is facing you. Once they're 6 months old, they can switch to forward facing out, but you won't be able to back carry until your baby's legs are a certain length, usually around 6-8 months but may be longer depending on the baby's femur length. This is also super easy to wash, I just throw it in a laundry bag, wash on gentle and air dry.Pros:-super comfortable-SO warm and soft- small pocket in front- easy to adjust if you have multiple people sharing thy carrier-easy and quick to put on and put baby in-makes running errands with a baby SO much easier-great for airport travel- don't have to take it off at security-no newborn insert, you can carry a baby from around 7-45 lbs in it.-easy to washCons:-bulkier than other non-ssc carriers- not super comfortable to sit in for long periods of time.I have used a wrap style carrier, an ergo with an infant insert and a structured carrier so far for my 3 month old son. This lillebaby carrier is far better than all of these carriers combined. It is comfortable on me and doesn't aggravate my back issues. The material feels nice and it dries quickly when my son drools on it. The carrier is lightweight and yet feels secure. I like the softness and the quality of material and I especially like the look of this carrier. You can tell that some thought went into the design. The organic designer style came with a removable pocket for a cell phone or keys, etc. as well as a lumbar support attachment. I think I may use it when my little one weighs more because for now the pack evenly distributes his weight nicely between my hips and shoulders.I carry my little guy for up to 4 hours at a time so I need a comfortable solution. I tried the ergo with an insert, but it was too hot for us and the material rubbed my baby's legs wrong. Also, there is no face-out option with the ergo.Although he is just over 3 months old, my baby is strong and likes to face out to the world when I carry him. He can do that in the lillebaby. He needs the seat to be a bit more narrow than the narrow position. I used the black safety strap that came with the carrier to wrap twice around the seat area to keep it cinched. The buckle is outside for his comfort.Another little trick is to roll the head cover up and secure it at both ends with hair ties. I do this so I always have the cover in place and ready for wind, rain and privacy. With the cover rolled up, I can use the head support when my little one falls asleep without having the cover hang down.Overall I am very pleased with my lillebaby carrier. My baby and I require a lot from a carrier and we found our perfect fit.We LOVE our Lillebaby, and these are some of the reasons why:1. Our son loves it. Everyone we know knows that he loves it. People joke that they had to drive their kids around the block to calm them down, all we have to do is put him in his Lillebaby.2. The lumbar support is fantastic. My husband has back problems and the lumbar support lets him wear our son for as long as he wants.3. The "babywearing gap." I never knew this existed before my son was too big to be worn in the newborn hold. I went to put his legs out, but the carrier was too wide. I felt like he was going to have to do the splits. The way the seat can be narrow or wide while still being hip healthy is so great.4. The color options.5. It has a hood AND head support. We live in Florida so I like to put the hood up to shield him from the sun, but I also like that I can put the head support up when he inevitably falls asleep. With other carriers I tried I ended up holding his head up with one of my hands.6. I feel like he’s protected when he’s in his carrier. Strangers don’t usually try to touch him, and if they do I have an opportunity to react. Also, people don’t ask to “pass the baby,” because I’d have to take him out.7. I love being close to him wherever we are. Nothing beats being able to go anywhere and have your baby cuddled up close to you. Those are some of the reasons, but I just wanted to say it's SUCH an awesome carrier (can you tell I’m a little obsessed haha)We had a Babybjorn from when she was born that my husband loves. Once she was ~9 mo, he said it was a big hard on the shoulders after a couple hours of walking about. However, I found that I couldn't wear it for very long even before then because of the weight on my shoulders and back. I also tried the cloth wraps which worked great when she was a newborn but as she grew heavier, my back couldn't take it. I also tried a sling but she hated it. When she hit the separation anxiety phase around 6 months, I needed a career because she screamed every time I left the room. At social gatherings, she refused to be held by anyone but me (not even by her dad). The Lillebaby has become a back-saver. I liked the idea of the side position and back option as she grows older. I've been using it in the front position (facing me or facing out) and it works great. We've been able to visit friends, travel, or hang out in the house. With the lumbar belt cinched tight, I can carry her for two hours with no strain on my back. I keep the shoulder straps a little loose to put more pressure on the hips. It's also the easiest of the carriers to get her in and out of and the easiest to breast feed in (see upright breastfeeding positions). It's easy to breastfeed without it being too obvious in a group of people. The material is very soft. The pink cloth is a little more rustic (and less pink) in than in the image on my computer but the pale pink contrast is quite nice. I keep it folded in a tote bag for easy transport. It doesn't pack down as small as the Bjorn or other carriers because of the padding. I am very grateful to this company for designing this product. It's more expensive than many of the other brands but worth it. They also have periodic sales and clearance on their website where sometimes you can get the same carrier design (but a less expense fabric) for 2/3 of the price. I'm somehow on their mailing list and get frequent sale offers from their US site. There are also many videos on YouTube with hints for how to get baby in and out of the carrier. I started using this after she had already learned to sit up; thus, I am not sure how well the "security belt" inside the carrier works with younger babies.I like the carrier but was surprised to have no manual. One grey strap was separated and still I have no idea what it is for.I believe the package if this carrier is supposed to be complited with a proper manual handbook as other carrier producers doVery fast delivery. I ordered on Sunday night and the carrier was delivered on Wednesday.like its name, the carrier is a complete product . I have done lots of reasearchs before buying it.you don't need to buy addtional infant insert and it has both infant head support and the protection hood. The carrier is made from organic cotton and feels soft. I'm very happy with the purchase.Used with my son since he was a new born, I highly recommend it. Note: It is perfect for me, but for my wife is a bit to bulky.
