I LOVE WATERBABIES! The first time I bought these was when my oldest two daughters were 8 and 6 years old. You fill the doll with water. They are quite realistic because of how they feel from the weight the water gives them. They played with them for years and years. Last year my oldest daughter, who is now 26, said, "Do you remember Waterbabies? I loved mine!" So for Christmas I bought her a new one for her little girl to play with someday. I also bought one for myself because Grandma needed to have one when the grand kids come to play. I believe that playing with dolls helps to teach children how to be a parent by developing care and nurturing skills. So glad this doll is still available and that I found it on Amazon. Thanks Amazon!!!I bought this for my 3 year old and she loves it! The doll squeaks and my daughter loves it. Its nice it comes with a bottle, but for the price it'd be nice if it came with a few more items, like a blanket or other accessories that they can play with to change her outfits, etc. Otherwise we love this doll! I have no complaints about it!I purchased this as a gift for my niece. She liked feeding the baby and putting the pacifier in her mouth. When her mom picked up the box to take the baby out, she said, "This is a really cute baby!" I would say it is as described and it was shipped by the expected delivery date. I saw other reviews mentioned the sounds she was supposed to make, but I didn't get a chance to hear what they sounded like.My daughter loves this doll, my only issue is its sort of hard to fill and you have no idea how much water is in or needs to be put in her. Overall I would highly recommend!I am so upset! I could not wait to give this doll to my 3 year old niece for Christmas, I remember having one as a kid and I loved it. She was so happy when she opened it on Christmas morning. I filled the doll up per the instructions and then it started leaking from the neck! Water was pouring out onto the floor, on my niece! It was a mess. I returned the faulty doll and am scared to order another one. I might have to just get her a baby alive or something.The recipient was absolutely thrilled with her new life-like baby. She even took it to her next Christmas gathering with her that day. It was a great gift. Thanks for your help.All little girls love waterbabies! They are soft enough to cuddle and weighty enough to feel like a real baby.
