We we were so frustrated with another camera that actually had thousands of good reviews, it would get disconnected, etc etc etc.We could not take it anymore! I researched other options and all have “4” stars, I came across this one with few reviews compared to the other ones but better reviews, I was like mmm why not?!?We are soooooo happy so far with it, connected super fast, app is great, resolution is amazing, settings etc. There is a little blue light on but it actually turns off in settings so don’t freak out like I did lol.Overall it just feels like the technology is betterpurchased this for our new born baby and waited 4 weeks to come back and write a review. the monitor is cute at first sight but also useful and helpful especially with the “crying alert” so we know immediately baby need help even if we are not by her side. This is the most important feature I am looking for and need it for . You can buy a additional fixture to mount it on top of the crib. for us we didn't choose to do that since most of the time we keep baby nearby but it is already good enough for us to monitor the crying. Good product and relatively better deal then other big brands. ?I got this as a baby gift for my sister . I first bought it because of the look of this product. After I received it , I tested out myself , I was amazed. This baby camera have so many functions and it is so easy to be hands on. I highly recommend this product .I had a similar monitor that is highly rated on amazon for about a year that started to not pair with the monitor / camera any longer and needed to look for a replacement - i went with this one as it seemed like the exact same product. Worked great out of the box, but after 1 week - and its only been 2 weeks! - it started to drop the connection, even just 1 room away. The monitor also screeches very loudly when turning the sound on the first level - think of an extremely loud crunching noise like dial up internet - so weird and annoying. Its to the point where we just keep the sound off because its so loud and there are no loud static sounds coming from the babies room - and totally defeats the purpose of having a monitor if there is no way to hear the sound!! Will be opting for return - maybe the seller will respond here. We're really disappointed.Update 10/10/22: heard from the seller and they shipped me a new one saying the original one I purchased was defective. So far so good. Let’s hope this one works out!I like this new one it work well Dan turn around and sound is very clear tooI love this baby monitor! The picture quality is great with both night vision and normal vision. However, the only thing I would change is I'd display the name of the app up front on the Amazon page. It took me a minute to find out which app I was supposed to download. You must download the CloudEdge app if you want to look at your baby from your cell phone.Everything is great on it except it’s battery dies really fast I pretty much have to keep it plugged in all the time and can only unplug it for short periods. But my baby loves the music feature and she went right to sleep with it the cry detection works really well I haven’t tested the motion detection yet because I want to mount the camera first but everything seems good besides battery.It came packaged really nice with two chargers and the quality of camera and voice is great. Love the price point and the features it has. Would recommend for nurseries !
