Holy Lamb Organics Cozy Buns Crib Baby Comforter - Soft Organic Cotton Blanket for Newborns & Infants - Perfect for Nursery, Stroller, and Bedtime Snuggles

I bought this comforter for my at the time 3 year old. We changed over to the toddler bed and I needed a comforter bigger than the standard crib size, but smaller than the twin size. This comforter is perfect(35"x53")! The size fits the bed and my daughter just right. There is still room for her to grow and I am sure it will work until we switch to a twin size bed. The weight of the comforter is perfect as well. It gets cold in our house durring the winter months as I do not turn the heat up real high(can't stand paying the utility companies more money!),so I needed something that would keep her nice and toasty warm. This comforter fits that perfectly as well. I use a lightweight muslin blanket as her sheet and then the comforter on top. I did get the duvet that Holy Lamb Organics makes for this comforter to cover it (this was only available directly from Holy Lamb Organics website). You can totally use it without, but as it is stuffed with wool, washing is a little more dificult in a standard washer (if you use agitation, it will felt the wool and ruin the expensive and great performing comforter;washing instructions are included). I like the duvet as it gives it a finished look and I can easily remove and wash it when needed. Beautiful and functional coverage. We bought this in the fall of 2012 and my daughter is now 4, still growing and this blanket still covers her well and keeps her warm. I will probably pass it down to her younger sister when she moves to the toddler bed and the older one goes to the twin bed!
