We bought the Plan Toys wagon and returned it and bought the Haba Walker Wagon. The Haba Walker Wagon was a MUCH better choice. The Plan Toys walker was not too hard to assemble, but it was more assembly than the Haba. It's maybe five screws vs. two. It's a cute toy and appears well made. But it is in my opinion ill-conceived. Here is why we made the switch.1. The Plan Toys wagon tips when the baby tries to pull up on it. She's 10 months old and 15 pounds. In the 25th percentile for her weight. She pulled it over on herself several times, spilling all the blocks each time. It made a ton of noise on the hardwood floor. She doesn't scare easily but it freaked me out.2. The Plan Toys walker is too lightweight overall. It has to have the blocks in it to give it the proper weight or it tips even more.3. The baby enjoys the blocks, which is great, but the last thing I need is her traveling with the blocks all over the house and scattering them everywhere never to be found again. Some of the blocks are round and roll under couches. Given that the walker is so lightweight when the blocks are not in it, this is hugely problematic. Also, only an adult or much older child can make the blocks fit uniformly into the wagon. A 10-month-old can't do it. So there's a lot of parent involvement involved, including massive cleanup multiple times per day.Now for the Haba Walker Wagon:1. It's heavier, but still easy for the baby to push.2. It does not tip. The handle is positioned better so the baby can pull herself up no problem.3. It's an adorable wagon she can use to push her toys around in, but this is a secondary and optional function and doesn't detract from its main purpose which for now is as a walker.4. No blocks!5. No clacking alligators or other annoying noises.6. Very durable and well made. Non toxic.I love everything about the Haba wagon. True, it doesn't turn easily, but I'm okay with that since she's unsteady on her feet and that's why she needs a walker. It's nicely designed, a good height, great for imaginative play down the road. It's a two-minute assembly. Costs more, but worth it.I bought this for my 10 month old who was already standing on her own without support, and who could take steps with my help. My hopes were that as soon as she got this walker she would be walking in no time, however, that wasn't the case. Every baby is different, and I did see an improvement in her stability and balance when trying to walk after she did start using it. It definitely did help her build the confidence to take those first few steps on her own. Now that she's walking she stills plays with it and the blocks. She also likes to crawl on it and let me push her slowly around the room (surprisingly the walker holds her weight, 20 lbs). The walker is well-made, durable, and study enough to withstand getting banged around by a now 1 year old.The walker is not cheap or flimsy like some of the other reviews say. It is made of sturdy wood and has a nice, smooth finish. It doesn't turn on it's own, so you'll need to help your little one when he or she hits a wall. I haven't had an incident with it flipping over when my daughter pulls the handle to stand herself up, but then again, I always supervise her play. The handle has two adjustment levels for height. There is a knob on the bottom backside that allows for tightening of the wheels to add resistance when being pushed, to prevent more unstable babies from losing control and falling forward. This walker is the best walker for the price and, in my opinion, much better than a plastic walker.First of all, this walker is just okay as a walker. It can't turn (basically you'd have to help the child) and it might tip over (though my child never tipped with it, but he didn't use it that much). But the blocks are awesome! If it were just a walker, I would have returned it, but my child loves the blocks so much that we decided to keep it. Btw, these are unit blocks with 1-inch cubes that can't be found in other unit blocks sets. So that's pretty cool. The toy can become even better after the child learns how to walk. I took off the handles and converted it into a little pull wagon. You can either tie a string at the turning knob screw at the end or at the front, through the generous gap below the two "eyes". I tied it in the front and it's so cute! See the pictures. This is a great toy, because of versatility, but if it were a better walker, I'd give it 5 instead of 4 stars. If it was called a "Block Cart" instead of a walker, it would have been a 5 star item, imo! But since they label it as a walker, I had to give it a 3 since it hardly can function as such. I bought this years ago and went through two babies learning to walk before I decided to pass on the cart to someone else. We kept the blocks as those are awesome! But as a walker, this thing is unstable.Okay once they already know how to walk mostly on their own, because then they can tell if the thing is going to tip over. But before that, it is a slight hazard. Even with all the blocks in the cart, there was not enough counter weight to keep them up long enough for them to try walking. One thing the kids did enjoy was pushing each other around in the cart once they were experienced walkers. But it was taking up space and it didn't spark joy ? So it's gone.Buy for the blocks, if you want to! But be weary of letting new walking babies attempt to use this as a walker. We bought this for our daughter who is just now experimenting with walking. The walker comes with a little brake so she can stand and lean against it without moving it - which is perfect for this early stage. My husband and I love the blocks as much as she does, and we all build towers and then let her knock them down. Easy to repack the blocks and looks like a classic child toy, which we really appreciate.we bought this for our boy's 1st birthday. He absolutley loves it. Since using it he is so much more stable on his feet and really enjoys the fact that he can walk "alone".The wheels can be tightened to slow the walker down, so it doesn't run away from him. As he gets better at it, we loosen the wheels slightly. The handle has 2 positions, we use the more upright one so the walker doesn't fall over when he's pushing himself up on it.Good quality wood, nice colours. One of the best things we've bought for him!!Lovely little baby walker. Good quality and lovely bright colours. However I am not sure the mechanism that should be able to lower the height actually works that well, or is even worth it, as when they are confident enough to use it they do!This product didn’t work for us - the wheels didn’t work very well and it was actually dangerous (my son fell forward and got a nose bleed!!) we had much more success with the Vtech walker - which was much cheaper!!!Recommend for babies trying to walk. Finn took to it straightaway and was able to push it along as soon as he saw it. Very study and the brake is useful particularly with laminate floors as it can slow it down.
