Brenda Novak is an expert writer and this is one of my favorite novels. Macy and Thad are very well developed characters and I love the way their relationship grows. They are not perfect, they have their flaws and also their strengths, and this makes them and their story very attractive. I loved the setting and descriptions, and the secondary characters add just the right touch and another layer to the dimension of the novel. The dialogue and interactions between Macy and Thad are delicious, full of emotion and an absolute treat to read. Beautiful story!
