I first heard it in my prepubescent years on vinyl released in the USSR under a different title with a different cover. Thankfully the set list was orinal and not abridged as eventually happened to LPs licensed for Melodya Recording Company. Years after did I find out the original title and cover, I even bought both US and Japanese pressings of the LP as the CD version had been out of print for quite awhile. Now I got it at last. It's the UICY-76866 SHMCD edition. Sound is pretty good, not overcompressed as sometimes happen with Japanese re-issues. I wish it was an expanded includung demos and non-released tracks. Demos are quite good and sound even fuller. This is a truly great album showing greatness in everything beginning with songs' choice to production quality. I first heard Too Shy To Say by Stevie Wonder on this LP and enjoy Diva's version even more that the original. The Same Love That Made Me Laugh by Bill Withers is as good as Bill's, but adding some disco feel to it. Top notch session musicians with Jeff Porcaro on drums, Lee Ritenour and Ray Parker Jr. on guitars to name a few. With the years gone by Baby It's Me hasn't lost even a tad of its charm. And I am sure to get back to it over and over again...
