This is a clever, almost rustic looking swing of organic woven cotton ropes. A rounded square of wood, with a woven seat and ropes to hang it from, this is perfect for a more classic look to a nursery or just for fun. I like that it doesn't include any plastics or anything artificial. There is a rim of metal around the rope loop at the top to prevent swaying. The entire swing came in a fabric bag with drawstrings. The swing kit does not include mounting hardware or anything, however, so bear that in mind. It does seem fairly strong, though a 40lb. limit is recommended by the directions. While I do not fit , of course, it seems soft and comfortable, though I do not plan to leave my daughter in it for long periods, even with the (woven) lap belt in place. It is not a multi-point harness, either, so a determined and active baby could get out, so this is clearly something that should be attended by an adult.
