I am new to woven wraps, but I have been trying all kinds of other carriers. I have a Boba stretch wrap, a Baby Bjorn, a Baby K'tan, a Hotsling and I just bought a Kinderpack. My four month old hates all of these except he tolerates the Baby Bjorn and we haven't tried the Kinderpack yet. I think the others are too tight/uncomfortable for him, but I've been trying to figure out some kind of carrier that will work since he constantly wants me to hold him.He doesn't have head/neck control yet (but is starting to) so the positions in these other carriers are pretty limited. He is now at the stage where he likes to look at things, so the Wrapsody is promising because you can do so many things with it. The included DVD is really helpful (and the videos are also online at the Wrapsody website).I'll be honest, being a tired first time mom, it is overwhelming to practice doing the various wraps. However, I can see how once I do get the hang of it, this wrap will be very flexible and much smaller to carry along in the diaper bag. I can't wait until he does have better head control to try some of the back positions. Since I'm familiar with the Boba wrap, the woven Wrapsody wrap isn't difficult to learn - it's just that there are so many more choices of wrapping methods.We tried the Basic X wrap yesterday, and my son didn't hate being in it! Granted, I only had him in there for about 10 minutes, but you want to start out with brief periods of time until they get used to being in them. Also, FYI, I couldn't find sizing information on Amazon, and the sizing information on the Wrapsody website didn't seem to match up with the Amazon sizes, so here's what the packaging says:S/M is 4.6m long, for US dress sizes 0-12 with a chest/bust of 34-40M/L is 5.0m long, for size 12-18 with 38-44 bustL/XL is 5.5m long, for size 18-26 with 46-54 bustLove this Wrap! Light and cool for summer! It fits me very well (I am 5'4" and around 150lbs). It does dig a bit, as expected with cotton gauze. It is breaking in just fine and getting super soft! Would purchase again!Bought this for my cousin in Italy and she loved it. It came wrapped in plastic with instructions and the colors were beautiful!I chose the lily design and the colors are absolutely beautiful in person! So worth the price, and my 10 week old loves it!
