Getting ready to go on a trip recently, I decided to look for an affordably priced, fractional size guitar that I could take along with me. Not only did it have to be easy to carry and pack no matter what mode of transportation I found myself using, but it also had to sound good.Reading some online reviews about several other brands sharing a similar size, the BB-16 Baby Bristol, by Blueridge began to stand out. Not only was the price reasonable, but I was already aware of the fine quality acoustic guitars made by the parent company, Blueridge. This made me even more comfortable knowing that the Baby Bristol came from the same folks.Confident I was making the right decision; I went ahead and ordered the BB-16.It arrived to my house quickly and was very well packed inside of its own padded gig bag! What a great combination it was; saving me from having to invest a few more bucks later on.Taking the guitar out of its fairly compact-sized gig bag, I couldn’t help me think how cool this little instrument was…the fit and finish was more than I expected – with it looking just like a scaled down version of one of my other guitars!Next, I tuned it up, and discovered just how great this guitar sounded. Of course it’s no full size guitar, but pound for pound, it has quite a nice tone with plenty of volume to satisfy my needs.Even more, I am quite sure that when I get back from my trip, this little guitar is going to one of my kids!
